Located at the base of Aspen Mountain, the funky Sky Hotel is in a truly superb ski-in/ski-out position and underwent a facelift in 2003 – it was formerly the Aspen Club Lodge. A wonderful new lobby showcases a hip retro new look to the hotel giving it a feel which is more ‘Miami’ than ‘Mountain’. Guest rooms have been upgraded with down comforters and pillows, Frette bed linen, Aveda bath products, full honour bar, cordless phone, voicemail, on-demand movies, Nintendo, internet access, robes and Starbucks coffee. Recreational facilities include an outdoor heated pool and hot tub on the patio and a fitness centre. Amenities include complimentary tea & coffee and daily newspapers, lively bar and restaurant, and concierge. Complimentary Aspen airport shuttle and breakfast included in the rates. This hotel is unsuitable for families.
